Water Women Warriors

Water Women Warriors

Water scarcity is a growing concern as the effects of climate change intensify, and this precious resource is becoming more valuable every day. Unfortunately, the people who will be affected most severely are those living in impoverished and underdeveloped areas, particularly women, children, and the elderly. As an artist and water resources engineer, I am passionate about raising awareness for these issues and advocating for the rights of those who will be impacted by intense droughts.

One of the major issues with water scarcity is the gender imbalance that exists, with women often carrying the burden of collecting water for their families. This responsibility often leads to girls being taken out of school at a young age, missing out on education and future opportunities. Through my art and advocacy work, I hope to shed light on these issues and inspire change. Access to clean water is a basic human right, and it is time that we prioritize finding sustainable solutions to ensure that everyone has access to this vital resource.
